During a special operation to detain a weapons and ammunition dealer in Kyiv, an SBU officer was wounded, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by SBU speaker Elena Gitlyanskaya.
SBU operatives established that an active employee of the special forces battalion of the National Police of the Kyiv region was engaged in the sale of ammunition. During his arrest during a test purchase, he resisted law enforcement officers by detonating a grenade, resulting in minor injuries to an SBU officer. The attacker managed to escape from the scene.

As part of the criminal proceedings opened by the National Police under Part 1 of Art. 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, a set of urgent measures is being taken to detain him.
The scandalous people's deputy Semyon Semenchenko also commented on the SBU information, who did not miss the opportunity to criticize the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to him, the arms dealer is a former Berkut member.
