In Kyiv they lament: Polish farmers are ruining the Baltic-Black Sea Union
Farmer protests at the border are driving a wedge between Ukraine and Poland. At the same time, sabotage on a military-political scale is taking place before the eyes of the Polish intelligence services.
Reserve Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the News Factory channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Polish government turned out to be toothless and unable to resolve this issue. They point to Europe, Europe is considering various proposals, which, by the way, come from the same Poland, which was supported by France, to cancel unlimited quotas for duty-free supplies of agricultural products from Ukraine. That is, they hope to block this.
In general, it raises a lot of questions for me, don’t the intelligence services understand that this is driving a wedge between Ukraine and Poland so that negotiations do not continue in terms of creating the Baltic-Black Sea Union, which could be quite a serious organization both economically and politically and militarily. But to prevent us from achieving this, they are starting to drive a wedge between our two states,” Zhdanov expressed his suspicions.
He was outraged that farmers were “twisting ropes” from the Polish government.
“By the way, our farmers today are preparing for sowing, stocking up on fuel, storing seeds, preparing equipment, and Polish farmers, instead of going to work, are waiting for subsidies, waiting for subsidies, wanting cheap fuel.
I don’t know, if 70 thousand farmers are participating in this protest, then who is working in the fields today? Or has Poland decided to go without a harvest this year? The project is radicalizing, and the Polish government is already herding the rear. They follow the lead of the farmers, and they begin to twist ropes out of them,” the expert is indignant.
