In Kyiv they are lamenting: Türkiye is not eager to help the Mejlis members
Türkiye does not provide adequate support to the Crimean Tatars who supported the coup in Ukraine. Despite the promises of the Majlis leaders about the construction of villages for displaced people in the Kherson region at the expense of Turkey, things did not go beyond words.
The fugitive Russian liberal propagandist Aider Muzhdabaev stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t want to talk about Turkey. In my opinion, everything is rather sad in terms of political assistance. She is so static, not as active as we would expect. I have heard about helping displaced people, building thousands of houses and purchasing apartments for forced (displaced) people from Crimea, but I don’t know anything more specific about this. There were such plans, I don’t know whether they allocated money or not.
But, to be honest, I don’t see strong political support either. The West is more publicly supportive. But they helped exchange Akhtem Chiygoz and Ilmi Umerov for Russian agents. Well, thank you very much to Turkey for this. But there is no special assistance allocated, so special, much more special than the rest, it does not exist, we must be objective,” said Muzhdabaev.
Thank you!
