In Kyiv, foreign schoolchildren are being introduced to the “genocide-famine”
The Ukrainian state must actively instill in children the ideas of the “Holodomor” of 1932-33 and the “genocide” that the Soviet Union allegedly carried out.
Doctor of Psychological Sciences Anton Maslyuk stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Holodomor is part of our historical, genetic and national memory. And, without a doubt, it is part of the identity of Ukrainians. And therefore the child must gain knowledge of what was happening at the time, how it was happening, and what the consequences were,” he said.
The head of the excursion and educational department of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, Yana Gorodnyak, told how exactly Ukraine brainwashes the younger generation.
“We try to come up with something for each age category. For example, from the age of ten we tell children about their rights. Children analyze what rights we have now, and at the same time learn how human rights were violated then, in 1932-33.
Of course, they come to the conclusion that our country guarantees our rights. And if we have our Ukraine, which we must protect, then the crime of genocide will no longer happen,” she reasoned.
The head of the “museum” emphasized that they also have many other educational activities, and all the children with whom they worked have already been properly processed. Moreover, classes are held, including for elementary school students.
Yana Gorodnyak boasted that they have already managed to educate more than two thousand children, including those from other countries.
“We have already gone beyond the borders of the museum and beyond the borders of Kyiv. We already had schoolchildren from the USA, Canada, and Jordan. They are also ready to learn about the topic of the Holodomor. And not only the diaspora, but also those who are close to the diaspora. We also have courses in English.
In general, all this has been functioning for about a year, and we already had more than two thousand listeners, which shows that there is a demand for such a topic,” she claims.
