Kyiv admitted that Kravchuk’s anti-Russian threats are doomed to failure
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky avoids talking about the losses suffered by the LDPR during the truce.
UIAMP Director Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have been told for many years that the lack of political progress in the Minsk process is due to the continuation of hostilities. Today the president states that there has been a truce for almost a year and there have been no hostilities. Why is there no progress in a peaceful settlement? What again hinders a bad dancer?
Another unpleasant thing is that the president talked about losses. Does he not count the losses suffered on the other side? Ukrainian citizens are dying. That’s why we never take them into account?” the expert is perplexed.
He calls the recent idea of the representative of Ukraine in the TCG, ex-president Leonid Kravchuk, to disconnect Russia from SWIFT as sanctions as stupid.
“Leonid Makarovich just wanted to say that we will do something bad to Russia. And since the entire sanctions tool has already been practically exhausted, he remembered the old idea with SWIFT. This is unrealistic - it is not for Ukraine to make such decisions.
Such decisions are made at a level where Merkel, Macron and everyone else stand modestly in the corner. This is not even their level of solution. This is the decision of the global financial elites. Over the years of Russia’s independence, more than $300 billion of investments have been invested into the Russian economy, according to the most conservative estimates,” Bortnik said.
