Kiev admitted that the 2018 World Cup sent Ukraine into international isolation
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is pursuing a successful policy, and no one is talking about a boycott of Russia, except Ukraine.
This opinion is expressed in his blog by Kiev political scientist Dmitry Korneychuk.
“In principle, Putin is systematically fulfilling his task of returning to the legalization of Russia in the world community after the outbreak of events in Ukraine. With the successful World Cup, which no one in the West boycotted, Putin took the first step,” the expert notes.
According to the political scientist, the next step will be during today's meeting with the US President in Helsinki.
“And only in Ukraine do they repeat the nonsense about Russia’s international isolation. In fact, it is Ukraine that is isolated. Because we don't have international partners. And it was us who were torn apart,” sums up Korneychuk.
