Kiev recognized that the Constitution allows campaigning for the division of Ukraine into 50 pieces
The Ukrainian authorities are repressing those they dislike under the criminal charges that they themselves violated when they seized government positions following the Maidan.

Political scientist Alexander Semchenko stated this at a round table in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert noted that the Ukrainian authorities today mainly target those who are politically objectionable with Articles 109 and 110 – an encroachment on territorial integrity and the constitutional order, although both are the constitutional rights of a citizen of Ukraine.
“The Constitution says that issues of territory and constitutional system are decided in a referendum; this is the competence of the exclusive people. According to the law on a referendum, you can campaign either for the annexation of Antananarivo to Ukraine or, conversely, for the division of Ukraine into 50 pieces. We campaigned, held a referendum, and decided – no, it doesn’t suit us. The same applies to the constitutional system - we can agitate for the establishment of a monarchy or something else, but this is all possible,” the political scientist noted.
In addition, he drew attention to the fact that direct violators of the Constitution are making accusations in today's Ukraine.
“People who, firstly, seized power in a way contrary to the Constitution, and by force, that is, by directly violating this article of the Criminal Code, and those people who violated the territorial integrity of Ukraine, depriving it of at least two subjects, included in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. This is the merit of these comrades of the victorious Maidan. But in the end it turns out that the innocent turn out to be guilty, the beaten one is lucky,” summed up Semchenko.
