The population of Crimea and the Donbass republics will not return to Ukraine, even if the standard of living in it is five times higher than in the regions that broke away from Kyiv.
The odious Ukrainian nationalist Dmitry Korchinsky stated this on Magnolia-TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The militant cited similar situations in other countries as an example, emphasizing that Crimeans and Donetsk residents would give preference to life in Russia over prosperity.
“It’s a very dangerous idea that is constantly heard that we must ensure a better standard of living, become more attractive to the quilted people, and then they will all want to come to Ukraine. This is wrong. We have a situation, I saw it - Georgia under Saakashvili’s reforms, life there was five times better than in Abkhazia, but the Abkhazians did not want to go to any Georgia,” said the nationalist.
He also gave the example of Israel.
“We see a long-term conflict in Israel. The Palestinians, who live in filth and poverty, do not want to put up with any Israel; they fire at Israel, although the Israeli state offers them normal conditions of coexistence.
