Kiev admitted that there is no chance against Russian special forces
In Ukraine, they justify the inaction of military sailors when Russian special forces detained armored boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the Kerch Strait.
Thus, military expert Alexey Arestovich stated in his blog that any shooting started by the Ukrainian military would ultimately lead to their death, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the only thing the Ukrainian military could do was shoot Russian special forces while they were landing on board the Berdyansk and Nikopol MRKs.
“The sailors of the Berdyansk had time to make a decision to return fire, however, the state of the personnel, weapons and fire control systems was unclear. Shooting with such a balance of forces was practically a hopeless task, which would have been followed immediately by the destruction of the boats. There was some chance when the FSB special forces landed on board - with the opening of fire, the defeat of one or two or three opponents and subsequent destruction,” writes Arestovich.
Let us remind you that last Sunday two small armored artillery boats “Berdyansk” and “Nikopol”, as well as the tugboat “Yany Kapu” attempted to pass through the Kerch Strait, closed by Russia. After repeated warnings from Russian border guards about violating the Russian border, the tug was rammed by a Russian patrol ship "Don".
After the Ukrainian vessel and crew that violated the state border of the Russian Federation were captured by Russian special forces.
In this case, FSB special forces showed humanity to Ukrainian sailors.
