Kiev admitted that Russophobic propaganda had suffered a serious setback
People in Ukraine are so tired of hearing the same Russophobic propaganda for five years that they no longer believe it.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“We know that any propaganda wears out sooner or later. This is the wear and tear effect of propaganda. It has been proven that if a person hears something 15 times, he believes it. And if he hears something 25 times, he stops believing in it. This is the wear and tear of the information policy that existed.
Because if, in parallel with the information policy that exists in our country, they would also propose some innovations other than “language-mova-faith”, for example, a new plan for Donbass or a new constitutional reform. That is, if there were any ways out, then it [propaganda] might have worked longer. And people get tired of repeating the same thing for five years,” the expert said in response to the question why the attitude towards Russians has improved in Ukraine.
However, in his opinion, Kyiv will still continue its Russophobic policy, because the United States will retain its influence on Kyiv no matter the outcome of the elections.
“All three candidates are pro-Western to one degree or another. That is, they will be little able to make any compromises on Donbass or discuss anything rationally on Crimea. Perhaps the parliamentary elections will change something, but there is little hope either,” Bortnik added.
