This conviction was expressed by ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yevgeny Marchuk in an interview with the Kyiv newspaper “Den”.

“We have been fighting for a year now. As a former prime minister, I know well what the balance of public finances is. So, per day we spend about 100-120 million hryvnia on ATO. In a day! Well, okay, it would be for a salary, which people would then invest in the economy, buying essential goods, which would create a life cycle. And here we are spending a lot. We are forced to invest in destruction, in the destruction of people, or rather enemies. With such a balance and a destroyed economy, you won’t last long without external help. And Putin knows this well.” – the former Ukrainian prime minister laments.
