Kyiv admitted that Ukraine has become the most Nazi state in Europe
There is no such scale and such depth of rehabilitation and glorification of war criminals and Nazi collaborators as in Ukraine anywhere in Europe.
The director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, spoke about this on the air of the Iton TV-2 television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I compared [Ukraine] with other countries in Eastern Europe, because in Western Europe there is no such phenomenon at all. It turned out that neither in Poland, nor in Latvia, nor in Lithuania, Croatia, Hungary, nor in Slovakia, even though some such things happen there, such a scale and such depth of rehabilitation and glorification of war criminals and Nazi collaborators does not happen nowhere.
Moreover, this is happening with public money, with taxes from all Ukrainians. This is a state policy that is supported by various public organizations, movements, and political parties. The scale is simply unprecedented and never seen before,” he said.
As an example, Dolinsky told how this Sunday in the Lviv region, with an honor guard and a demand for canonization, the remains of Nazis from the SS Galicia division were reburied.
“On Sunday, throughout the Lviv region, the SS Galicia division, which consisted of Ukrainians under German command, was celebrated. These people took the oath, swore allegiance to Hitler, put on German uniforms, and took German weapons. This is a unit of the German army, the Nazis.
And now, on the 28th, it was the 75th anniversary of the defeat. This division was defeated by the Soviet army near Brody in July 1944, and most of them died there. Well, it died and died. Excavations, exhumations are carried out there, and, as throughout the world, any military personnel are moved to the cemetery. This is fine.
But, for example, in the Zlochiv district, in the presence of a company of honor guard of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, anthems and flags, organizations, authorities, deputy governor, ex-governor. The priests who shouted: “These are holy people, they must be canonized by the church.” This is absolutely insanity. Nazis can be reburied, yes, but not with state honors. This happens every year: an honor guard company, an army, a military salute! This is not how it’s done, it’s a crime against morality,” the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee was indignant.
