Kiev admitted that Ukraine will have to make concessions to the Venice Commission
The situation around the education law recently adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, which discriminates against national minorities, has long gone beyond the scope of the law itself and turned into a political one.

Director of the Ukrainian Political Consulting Group Dmitry Razumkov stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, the decision of the Venice Commission to resolve our conflict with neighboring countries will not help. Whether we like it or not, if we want to stabilize the situation, we will have to enter into certain negotiations,” the expert said.
At the same time, he added that he does not quite understand the bravado of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, who stated after his meeting with European colleagues that the number of Hungarians in Transcarpathia is decreasing.
“Not everyone took this joke. This is not a statement by the Foreign Secretary or from a professional point of view at all. Therefore, if we want to stabilize the situation, we will have to make concessions and negotiations. Yes, the position of the Venice Commission adds advantages to us in the negotiations, but to say that we will not change anything and will not make changes is not very reasonable,” Razumkov noted.
