Kiev admitted that nothing can save the Ukrainian gas transportation system
Gas disputes between Ukraine and Russia will ultimately lead to the fact that the Ukrainian gas transportation system will have to be cut into scrap metal. As a result, Ukraine will still use Russian gas, but at a premium and according to “gray” schemes.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Chervonenko said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the same thing is now happening with Donbass coal, which Ukraine receives through Russia, but much more expensive.
“This means that the pipe will need to be sold for scrap. What is this, some kind of pre-election rhetoric? Well, fight again - Central Europe and Southern Europe don’t care about us. Why are they afraid to say one of the main facts: it’s not Russian aggression – it’s that we are not negotiable and unpredictable. Look, what time did the economic blockade of the DPR and LPR end? This is being recognized now. Well, what can you agree on in a country in which both the president and the authorities said that there was no blockade, and then led the rhetoric. As a result, the same coal comes to us with a Russian markup. What kind of scheme was this, what kind of country is this?” Chervonenko was surprised.
Thank you!
