Kiev admitted that Washington is behind the conflict in Donbass
Only Washington and Moscow, standing behind the parties to the military conflict in Donbass, are able to put an end to the war.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, who believes that the EU is not able to stop the war in Donbass.

“All the main issues are still being resolved at the level of Washington and Moscow, which stand behind the opposing sides,” the political scientist noted. – The old bitter joke that the United States and Russia are ready to fight each other until the last Ukrainian is more than obvious today. And in this regard, it is not the Normandy Four that is an effective tool for resolving the issue, but the meetings between Lavrov and Kerry or the creation of the Karasin-Nuland commission. I think the negotiations between Putin and Obama are more effective. It is at this level that issues of the Ukrainian confrontation are being resolved.”
The Ukrainian expert also believes that Kyiv refuses direct negotiations with the republics because it does not have instructions on this matter from Washington.
“Ukraine, unfortunately, for 24 years has not received its subjectivity and therefore most of the issues that directly concern Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens are resolved outside of Ukraine at the external level,” stated Kost Bondarenko. – The fact that Kiev today does not enter into direct negotiations with Donetsk and Lugansk is not so much a sign of some kind of excessive pride or arrogance of certain politicians, but rather a sign that instructions, directives, etc. have simply not been received, until a decision has been made a question between the main opponents at the level of Washington and Moscow.”
