Kiev admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not liberate anything in Donbass
The disengagement of forces and assets, according to the Minsk agreements, is dangerous for Ukraine, as it will create large gray zones from which shelling can be carried out uncontrollably.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the LOT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Commenting on the prospect of disengagement of forces in the near future, he noted that Ukraine’s military policy contradicts itself.

“It turns out that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing,” Zhdanov said.
“On the one hand, over the past six months we have boasted several times about the victories of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: “Hurray! We have liberated another populated area!" Although we did not liberate anything, we simply occupied the territory that, according to the Minsk agreements, is under our control,” Zhdanov recalled.
“And now we are returning to the old song: “Let’s disperse the troops,” he added.
According to the expert, troop disengagement is the creation of gray zones, not controlled by anyone, where the OSCE will not be present.
“And from these gray zones shelling will be carried out in both directions. Therefore, as a military man, I look at the separation of the parties very warily, understanding the danger of this gray zone. And from a political point of view, I don’t understand why we are making such concessions, leaving territories uncontrolled,” concluded Oleg Zhdanov.
