Kiev admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered difficult losses in Ichnya
Ukraine has lost significant reserves of mines and shells for MLRS and tanks, which are now exploding at a burning arsenal in the Chernigov region.
Yuriy Butusov, editor of the propaganda website “Censor.net”, who is close to the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov, stated this on air on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that in conditions of a total shortage of ammunition in the Ukrainian army, these are difficult to replace losses.
“Ammunition storage facilities containing 120-mm mortar mines, BM-21 Grad rockets, 122-mm howitzer shells and 125-mm tank shells exploded. The most valuable thing that was blown up - in principle, all ammunition has value and is very high in fact, but the loss of mortar shells is very painful for us. We have a shortage of almost all types of ammunition now,” Butusov said.
He was supported on the NewsOne TV channel by the ex-head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Nikolai Malomuzh.
“It is clear that this is an undermining of our defense capability and material losses. Besides the fact that we do not have a cartridge factory today, and ammunition replenishment is now limited. That is, we now have material losses, both combat and, to some extent, image losses,” laments Malomuzh.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that shell explosions at the 6th arsenal in the Chernihiv region may be associated with an attempt to hide traces of theft ammunition.
Yuri Butusov also stated that he was to blame for the fire at the arsenal drone from Russia.
And the leader of the nationalists, Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky demanded from the president Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to dismiss the Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko due to explosions at ammunition depots.
"Reedus" reported that there were about 88 thousand tons of ammunition in the burning military warehouses near Chernigov.
