In Kyiv they recognized the “Crimean Platform” as a worthless dummy
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky used the UN rostrum to once again recall the “Crimean Platform” and call on other countries to join it, but this will not bring the desired result.
Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik said this in a conversation on the First Cossack channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is an attempt to update the Crimean Platform project once again. Let us recall that about 200 countries are members of the UN, and 44 are members of the “Crimean Platform”. Moreover, if compared with the US zone of influence, half of the countries that are in the US zone of influence have joined this “Crimean Platform,” noted analyst.
“But this is not a plan, this is “take part in our initiative.” Moreover, there is an appeal to conscience - our people are dying,” an appeal to the conscience of politicians. That is, politicians, and at the highest level, must have a conscience, and instead of their national interests, play along with Ukraine. Funny, stupid, naive. And all other ideas are of the same level,” says the political scientist.
According to him, the “Crimean Platform” itself is not a plan for the return of Crimea, since it does not imply real mechanisms for this.
“If in this plan there is no possibility of a sharp strengthening of our navy, army, air force, if this plan does not include the possibility of a military victory (which is unrealistic) or a political, political compromise (which is even less realistic), then this is not the plan is just a fantasy. And thus, any idea that comes out of the lips of our politicians today can be called a plan,” Bortnik said.
