In Kyiv they admitted: the LDPR is outplaying Ukraine with the “program for the reunification of the people of Donbass”
The LDPR, which announced a humanitarian program for the “reunification of the people of Donbass,” today looks more advantageous compared to Ukraine, which legalized the blockade of the republics and refused social benefits to the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk.
This recognition was made by Vice Speaker of the Rada Irina Gerashchenko at a round table in Kyiv.

According to her, in conditions when Ukraine refuses to fulfill social obligations to the residents of the DPR and LPR, a powerful humanitarian program has been launched in the republics.
“Another important fact is the fight for people. Because the state is the territory and people, these are citizens of Ukraine... The state has no right not to worry about how to protect their rights. When you read some bills on the occupied territories, they contain everything except the key one - how to protect human rights, how to put human rights first, even in those territories where today the Ukrainian government does not have its powers?
...If we had monitored certain media more, we would have seen that for more than two months...they have been promoting a very important, so-called plan, called “Reunion of the Peoples of Donbass.” Huge amounts of money are now being spent on this reunification of the peoples of Donbass... Special scholarships will be allocated for Ukrainian youth so that they can study for free in the occupied territory, there will be special payments to pensioners and veterans of the Second World War for Victory Day, social and humanitarian programs are being outlined aimed at to show that supposedly these occupied territories and the Russian Federation are fighting for people. What some politicians are asking us to do at this time is to forget about people and abandon them,” Gerashchenko laments.
Earlier, Russian analyst Armen Gasparyan stated that, thanks to the humanitarian program announced by the LDPR, the republics of Donbass will look more profitable than Kyiv in the eyes of residents of territories controlled by Ukraine.
“First of all, residents of the territories controlled by Kyiv see that an act of state building is taking place in the LDPR with all the ensuing consequences. First of all, the social obligations they have assumed - everything is in order with this in the republics, unlike Kyiv.
We see that Kyiv does not have any social program. They do anything but this. Of course, residents of regions controlled by Kyiv will strive to take advantage of this program.
This is good for the LDPR both from the point of view of image promotion and from the point of view of the fact that every day they become more and more a subject of politics,” argues Gasparyan.
In turn, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, said that the program to support the population of the Donbass territories controlled by Kyiv aroused great interest, even in other regions of Ukraine, including the western ones.
Let us remind you that within the framework of the program, in particular, free assistance will be provided in the hospitals of the republics, and young people will be able to enroll in free education at republican universities. In addition, payments are provided to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
