Deputy head of the department Nikolai Bilous stated this at a meeting of the board of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
“If in December we were two months behind, then as of now we are six to eight hours behind the current calendar plan. There is a month left, and every hour and minute is simply worth its weight in gold. People work from six in the morning and after one o’clock (at night - ed.) they are still working,” the official said.
He also noted that in December, when Ukraine was two months behind the plan, “some employees of the National Television Company had a hand in this.” According to Bilous, the State Committee for Teleradio intervened and took responsibility, resulting in the reassignment of the leadership of NTKU, which radically changed the situation.
Let us remind you that from February 14 to April 3, 26919 Eurovision tickets were sold, and the total amount from sales amounted to more than UAH 36 million.
