Kiev recognized the failure of the Sentsov campaign
Kiev and its Western partners failed to promote the topic of the terrorist Oleg Sentsov imprisoned in Russia, to create a martyr out of him in order to somehow influence the holding of the World Cup.
This opinion was expressed on the UkrlifeTV channel by political scientist Andrei Mishin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let’s say why Sentsov’s case is not spontaneous, why there is a certain structure for which this is a military task.
It was calculated that there would be a World Cup in Russia. Let’s, then, like before – like in Germany in 1936 – let’s troll Russia, that there are political conclusions in Ukraine, and, above all, Sentsov, and so we’ll spin it all, so that many politicians don’t go to the Championship.
It had not yet begun when our people decided to help with the idea that Putin was so afraid of this campaign against Sentsov that he began to kill journalists in Ukraine.
It all looks funny, a shame, of course, because this is a big defeat for Stratcom,” he said.
