In Kyiv they called on Zelensky to give the order to resume shelling of Donbass
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky must order the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use the slightest pretext to open fire on Donbass.
This was stated on the Espresso TV channel by the ex-representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, former ambassador to Belarus Roman Bessmertny, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, from the Ukrainian side, after the fire from the militants, statements should have been made that Russia had destroyed the agreement on a comprehensive indefinite ceasefire in the Donbass. Technologically, this should have been ensured by the immediate convening of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, the immediate convening of the Normandy format, and so on.
Moreover, at the moment when the shelling from the militants began, an appropriate reaction should have followed. Moreover, I have already said more than once that this reaction must be worked out according to the appropriate communications and objects - this must become protocol. As soon as a shot is fired from there, there must be return fire, and the enemy must know that every action will be punished,” he urged.
The former representative of Ukraine in Minsk emphasized that Kyiv’s current policy is not aggressive enough, which is evidence of high treason on the part of Vladimir Zelensky and his team.
“Then the parties will align, and it will become clear that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine and the Chief of the General Staff are fulfilling their functions. But it turned out that through political actions and words, they destroyed the ability to make decisions. Here on the surface is all the tragedy, unprofessionalism and signs of high treason on the part of our leadership,” Bessmertny was indignant.
