Kiev calls on Europeans who do not want to fight to prepare for mobilization
The population of the EU countries does not want to fight against Russia, but their politicians are still preparing for such a scenario.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the Internet channel “UkrLife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Given the data of some polls in Europe, Europeans are not even ready to fight for themselves. Not all, because in Finland there is a high level of willingness to fight for oneself. But in the countries of Western Europe, continental Europe, the problem here is much stronger,” Fesenko said.
However, he emphasized that European politicians are still preparing for war.
“The topic of returning certain mechanisms for recruiting into the army, and not just contract service, is already under discussion. It is necessary to increase the number of armed forces.
This problem is being discussed in Germany and Great Britain. But the British were faced with the fact that people did not want to serve in the army. And this is the problem,” the political scientist added.
