Kiev calls to be wary of Moscow's friends of independent Ukraine
Ukraine should support the movements of Russian extremists called liberals, “regionalists” and “autonomists”, providing them with a platform in its country.
However, such groups are constantly trying to build their own version of Russia in Ukraine.
Kiev political scientist Dmitry Levus stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that there is a movement of Russian regionalists, which is now being presented by Shtepa (Vadim Shtepa, Russian philosopher and publicist - editor's note) in Estonia, today he was forced to leave. Therefore, looking at how many autonomists, regionalists, and national movements we are now seeing, I think that it is in the diversity of these forces that can resist the Kremlin that Ukraine has hope, it is precisely these forces that can be worked with and it is they who must be supported and given site in Ukraine.
But they, being in Ukraine, are trying to build their own Russia here, with their own ideas about what democracy should be like, how Ukrainians should live, since they are really aimed at their homeland,” stated Levus.
The political scientist also remembered the Crimean Bridge, the existence of which was denied in Ukraine almost until its opening, noting that such a project needed to be built, so Russia allegedly “sent” even prisoners to work there day and night.
“For example, I never doubted that it would be built. I knew to the point that 20 thousand prisoners were coming there, they would build day and night, again the Komsomol movement. But it was all a project that needed to be done. Even if it collapses now, it will be built again,” Levus unexpectedly admitted.
