The director of Kyiv school No. 148, a member of the board of the Ministry of Education and Science, Sergei Gorbachev, stated this in an interview with the Kraina magazine.
“In the Soviet school they gave you knowledge - and go for a walk. Of course, nothing will happen without knowledge, but the new Ukrainian school will teach how to use it. That is, not only to know that area is to multiply the length by the width. But also be able to determine the volume of the room and how much wallpaper is needed for this. For many, counting the number of rolls for a room is a very difficult task,” Gorbachev said.
