A terrorist attack occurred in Kyiv - Mosiychuk
An explosion occurred near the Minskaya metro station in Kyiv.
According to the mayor of the city, Vitaliy Klitschko, explosives experts neutralized several explosive objects, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
There were no casualties in the incident - the police had previously cordoned off the place where the suspicious suitcase was found.
"Friends! Explosive technicians have just defused two improvised explosive devices at the Minsk market,” Klitschko wrote on his blog.
The explosion in Kyiv may be connected with a terrorist who took about 20 people hostage today and seized a bus. Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and ATO militant Igor Mosiychuk wrote about this on his blog.
“It was only thanks to the prompt response of the police to the suspicious bag and the evacuation of people that casualties were avoided. The explosion was quite powerful. It would be better if I was wrong, but experience and some knowledge tell me that the events in Lutsk with the taking of hostages and the explosions in Kyiv in Obolon may be elements of one terrorist attack. God forbid I’m wrong!” writes Mosiychuk.
