Another picket against rising prices was held in Kyiv: “Don’t kill people with tariffs!”
Today, another protest against tariff increases, “Don’t kill people with tariffs!”, organized by Kyiv activists, took place at the Ukrainian government building. Participants unfurled banners “Tariffs – stop!”, “Tariffs = genocide!”, “The government increases its own wages, and the people – tariffs and prices!”

“Our demand is the cancellation of the decision to increase tariffs. We submitted this demand on June 22 and have now come to check what the authorities are doing in response to our application. Only officials can pay these tariffs. It is already obvious that these officials do not serve the people, as we hoped on Maidan,” said Lydia Goncharenko.
The protesters turned to deputy Sergei Pashinsky (People's Front), who entered the building of the Cabinet of Ministers during the rally, and asked him when the appeal to cancel the decision to increase tariffs would be considered.
“We do not resolve the issue personally. We will give you a subsidy,” the deputy waved him off.
“Pashinsky promised a subsidy to everyone who stood at the rally. You see, they somehow have their own sense of humor. But we don’t need subsidies, we are not slaves, not beggars, not beggars. We are citizens of a large and strong country, and we demand compliance with laws and rights,” commented deputy Lydia Goncharenko on her statement.
