Kyiv, May 28 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – “The cynicism of the authorities knows no bounds! Our sons are being sent to shoot at our families for our money,” - under these slogans a rally took place today near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The picketers demanded from the country's chief police officer an impartial investigation into the case of snipers who shot people on the Maidan, as well as an investigation into the bloody events in Odessa and the South-East.

“Mr. Avakov, that’s enough, we’re already fed up with your promises,” said Dmitry Filipchuk, co-chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association “Democratic Trade Unions of Ukraine” during the rally. “We are tired of war and lawlessness and demand an objective and transparent investigation into the events as a result of which people continue to die.”
There was also a demand for the arrest of NSDC Secretary Andrei Parubiy, who, according to the protesters, “approved the plan for a punitive operation in Odessa” and the resignation of the Yatsenyuk government, which “unleashed a civil war in its own country.”
