At the “Wall of Memory” near St. Michael’s Cathedral (occupied by the schismatic “Kyiv Patriarchate”) in Kyiv, a “Light a Candle” event took place. The action is held on the eve of the “Day of Defender of Ukraine” established in 2014 (timed to coincide with the anniversary of the founding of the collaborationist OUN-UPA) and is dedicated to the memory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen who died in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The organizers of the event were the UOC KP, the Kiev City Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth and the local scout organization.

Several dozen people took part in the action. They lit candles and placed them at the “Wall of Memory” for those killed in the ATO.
