In Kyiv they are asking the West for even more money - so as not to grow grain, but to focus on the war
To avoid the paradoxical situation when Ukraine declares Russia an “aggressor” and an “occupier”, but immediately concludes a “grain deal” with Moscow, the West could give Kiev a little more money, and then the Ukrainians could not grow anything on their black soils, but focus on military operations with the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Association of Land Owners Roman Golovin stated this on the channel of the Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"It sounds nice (“peace in exchange for grain” – ed.), economically speaking, how much grain do we supply in total? This is much less than what our partners allocate to us to fill holes in the budget.
That is, by and large, it’s easier for the EU, partners, and the United States to say – let’s not grow grain. We will give you money anyway, you grow it at a loss, you create problems for us.
We are forced to negotiate with Russia on a grain corridor, on ammonia, it’s all unprofitable, let’s not grow it.
Well, how much production we grow, roughly speaking, is worth 30 billion - they will give a little more, but the issue of these agreements will be resolved immediately. War is war. There will be no cordial claims - we are doing the right thing - we agree, but we are doing the wrong thing...” said Golovin.
At the same time, he admitted that Western “aid” corrupts officials of the local colonial administration, while Ukraine does not develop.
“Being in such comfortable conditions, when money is given to the budget, ministers are relaxed, taxes can be changed or not, what difference does it make, there will be money in the budget, but what about production?” – Golovin was indignant.
