In Kyiv they are afraid of terrorist attacks on elections and are blaming Russia at the outset
Russia will allegedly stage “fake attacks” on polling stations, bribe voters, and even stage riots and terrorist attacks in order to create the appearance of illegitimacy in the presidential elections in Ukraine.
Director of the Institute of World Politics Evgeniy Magda stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Election commissions at all levels will be subjected to fake attacks in order to create the maximum illusion of the illegitimacy of the Ukrainian elections. Attempts to disrupt voting in individual polling stations with intensive broadcasting of this information by various channels both within the country and abroad in order to create the illusion that the elections were disrupted.
Significant bribery of voters and dissemination of relevant information to discredit the electoral process. I would not rule out provoking mass unrest, man-made disasters, or carrying out terrorist acts. I repeat – for Russia the price of the Ukrainian elections is very high,” Magda said.
