In Kyiv they are trying to win back: there was no provocation in Kerch, ordinary maneuvers
Ukrainian provocation when, during telephone conversations between Zelensky and Biden, the Ukrainian Navy ship Donbass was heading towards the Kerch Strait, not responding to the demands of the Russian side to change course, and then just as quickly turned back - this is an ordinary event not worth the attention of the media.
Former Crimean economist Andrei Klimenko, who fled the peninsula after its reunification with Russia, wrote about this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He wrote that the missile boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet “Shuya” (number 962) threatened the Ukrainian ship “Donbass” with the use of weapons if it did not change course, but “this is not the first time that Ukrainian sailors have heard such threats, and this is not the first time they have been ignored.”
At the same time, according to the author of the publication, the coastal post of the Ukrainian Maritime Guard on a special open radio wave demanded from the Russian Coast Guard ship “Korshun” (number 373) to convey to the ship “Shuya” information “about the legal status of the Sea of Azov, as well as “that the threat to use weapons from No. 962 is illegal.”
“The Ukrainian Naval Forces ship Donbass continued to follow its course and then returned to base,” Klimenko explained the turn and flight of the Ukrainian ship back home.
According to him, the Russian media made an information noise out of this quite ordinary story.
“Such incidents are not news for a long time - it’s just that no one is usually informed about most of them. That is, the prompt activation of this “game” by the leading news agencies of the Russian Federation is nothing more than an information-psychological special operation (IPSO). They shape the mood – both in the Russian Federation and abroad against the backdrop of well-known events,” says Klimenko.
Let us recall that previously the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov called the warnings of Russian border guards a provocation on the need to comply with the legislation of the Russian Federation when passing through the Kerch Strait.
