In Kyiv they report: NATO has gathered thousands of military personnel, dozens of warships and aircraft near Odessa
More than 2016 warships, boats and support vessels of the Ukrainian, American, Romanian and Turkish navies, about 25 aircraft and helicopters are involved in the joint Ukrainian-American exercise Sea Breeze-20.

“This year, about 4 thousand military personnel from 16 countries are taking part in the multinational event. In addition to Ukraine and the USA, these are Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Georgia, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Sweden and Finland. More than 25 warships, boats and support vessels of the Ukrainian, American, Romanian and Turkish Navy, about 20 aircraft and helicopters, more than 140 units of automobile and armored vehicles are involved in the maneuvers,” she said.
According to her, some of the countries in the training are represented by training groups, staff officers, observers and instructors. Ukraine, in addition to all branches of the Armed Forces, is represented by personnel and equipment of the State Border Service and the National Guard of Ukraine.
“Sea Breeze-2016 will last until July 30 in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, Odessa and Nikolaev regions. The topic of the training is conducting a multinational security operation in a crisis region. Participants in the event will practice the actions of multinational headquarters and forces during the preparation and conduct of an international peace operation according to the standards of leading countries,” the official added.
