In Kyiv, the “unreasonable” United States was criticized for playing with Russia against China
The US wait-and-see policy regarding economic cooperation between China and Russia, which allegedly weakens the latter, is incorrect, since it does not correspond to the interests of the Kyiv authorities.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans are now thinking at these high levels in this spirit: “Well, look, we weaken Russia, which means China will strengthen. Is this beneficial for us? No. So, let’s keep Russia half-dead and half-dead so that it doesn’t try too hard to interfere with us, and it certainly won’t win the arms race, but this is a certain counterbalance to the China’s too big appetites.”
In my opinion, such a strategy is not very reasonable, because in any case, the Celestial Empire, step by step, begins to bite off from Russia what is located to the East of the Ural Mountains. Unfortunately for Russia, this process is objective.
Therefore, in my opinion, we need to think about scenarios for either turning Russia into a country that will return to the norms of international law, or think about how to act with this territory, because soon it may simply become ungovernable,” the propagandist argues.
Let us recall that earlier Ogryzko expressed the opinion that Russia is moving towards a new arms race with the West, which in the end supposedly will lead to its collapse.
Meanwhile, Associate Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, expert of the Balkanist.ru project Ekaterina Entina said that Russia should become China's economic partner in the Balkans, which is the largest investor in the region.
