Russia does not intend to wage war against Ukraine; its strategy is the gradual reunification of the territories torn off by the separatists after 1991, preceded by the issuance of Russian citizenship to the local population.
Economic expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking about the gradual assimilation of Ukraine. Nobody will attack. No projectiles will fly. This is the same policy that Hungary is pursuing in Transcarpathia - gradual assimilation with the issuance of passports and the provision of citizenship.
This is Putin's plan. He is not a military man. This is a creeping annexation, it is of a humanitarian nature,” Zemlyansky said.
