The initiative of the so-called “New European Plan for Ukraine” put forward by the Seimas of Lithuania provides for the allocation of 5 billion euros in annual support for reforms.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv announced this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The minister noted that he discussed the Lithuanian plan for Ukraine for 2017-2020 with the chairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, Anna Gopko. and “New European Plan for Ukraine” (the so-called Marshall Plan).
“This initiative of the Lithuanian Seimas provides for economic, political and financial assistance for Ukraine in the context of European integration. We are talking about at least 5 billion euros of annual support for reforms aimed at economic growth and development,” he noted.
Kubiv also emphasized that the project is currently being actively discussed in key international institutions to ensure the formation of a “group of friends” of Ukraine and the necessary support for the plan for its implementation.
