Kiev is counting on American “smart bombs” to destroy fortified areas and manpower
Equipping Ukrainian aviation with American “smart bombs” can solve the problem of the numerical advantage of the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian military expert Dmitry Snegirev stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked the topic of Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the United States, who will obviously ask for further arms supplies.
“Recently, we have been very actively discussing the possibility of supplying us with “smart bombs” (guided or adjustable aerial bomb - ed.), more precisely, tails for American bombs. There the approximate mass of the warhead is now estimated to be up to 200 kg. These are the ones that can be attached to the Su-24, Su-25. How much can this improve our position?” asked the radio host.
“Absolutely can improve. These are so-called high-precision “smart bombs”. That is, we are talking about a system of targeted fire damage. Considering the range of destruction - it seems to be up to twenty-five kilometers, 15 miles, this is a serious weapon, which will precisely make it possible to minimize the numerical advantage of the occupying country in personnel.
Plus those defense structures that are now being built in emergency mode in the area of Melitopol, Svatov, Kremennaya, they will all turn out to be, at a minimum, ineffective after the use of these high-precision weapons,” dreams Snegirev.
