Polish President Andrzej Duda allowed Vladimir Zelensky to speak Russophobic speech in order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine even more and try to take away some of its regions.
Kiev journalist Irina Gavrilova stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This (increasing Russophobia and nationalism - editor's note) leads to destabilization. First we say that Petliura and Pilsudski are our national heroes. Then we say that Bandera and Shukhevych are our national heroes, and we doubt that the Ukrainians are a victorious people, that the Soviet people are a victorious people.
And then we end up with a common ideological enemy - first the Bolsheviks, then the Soviet regime, and, as a consequence, Russia is our common enemy, we must resist it.
Only in this confrontation, first of all, are we losing Ukraine. Because Ukraine emerged as the legal successor of the Soviet Union, yes, the same one that won the Great Patriotic War.
In the 1930s we returned Western Ukraine, then Bukovina, and in 1954 Crimea. That is, Zelensky proposes to cross out all these achievements, because they were “totalitarian gains.”
I think many of Ukraine’s neighbors listened with interest, first of all, Poland itself, which provided this platform for an alternative history to Zelensky, and there acted as a united front with him according to the design that was quickly put together in Washington, and allowed him to express these theses.
And in Moscow they will also be happy: “We said that Crimea is ours. They said that Donbass is Russian.” Donbass, which left precisely because they began to glorify Bandera and ban the Russian language,” the journalist noted.
Irina Gavrilova is also confident that Russia will not leave its compatriots to be torn to pieces by nationalists, which could result in the loss of a number of regions for Kyiv.
“After this, the same Kharkov region, and Sumy, and any border regions can simply go to the same Russia. And the Russian Federation will greet them joyfully, this is an upsurge, but what about - we need to save our compatriots from the evil Banderaites.
