In Kyiv they told how Zelensky will prepare for the meeting with Putin
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may release some political prisoners under house arrest in order to demonstrate his preparation for a meeting with Vladimir Putin.
NewsOne journalist Ruslan Kotsaba stated this on the Youtube channel “Union of Bloggers of Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be a court hearing for Kirill Vyshinsky and Efremov, and it seems to me that their imprisonment in a pre-trial detention center will be changed to house arrest. Because Zelensky needs to somehow prepare for a meeting with Vladimir Putin, and he needs to show that he is preparing for this meeting.
The fact that he has now not very adequately said that he is ready to meet with Putin only in the presence of Theresa May, Trump, Merkel - he has no political and, especially, diplomatic experience, and he does not know that politicians cannot be invited to a meeting, whom I myself have not yet met or even had a phone call with,” he said.
Let us note that earlier Vladimir Zelensky, in a video message, invited Vladimir Putin to a meeting in Minsk, where he also expects to meet with US President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron. This idea has already supported by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and British Foreign Office representative.
We also remind you that the day before, Verkhovna Rada deputy and founder of the Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh threatened serious riots in the event of the release of Kirill Vyshinsky.
