In Kyiv they spoke about Zelensky’s hidden fears
The new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is still hostage to the virtual world and plays out the image of the hero of the television series “Servant of the People” Goloborodko, because he is afraid to face the harsh reality.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky’s problem as a politician is that, both at the start and now, he does not need a rational program. He is flesh and blood, part of a living myth (about the hero of the television series Goloborodko - editor's note). Moreover, remember, there were many comments that he was the hero of “Servant of the People” by Goloborodko, and it was time for him to return to earth and become a living person? It turned out that he was a “slave of the lamp.”

At the same time, according to Andrey Ermolaev, Vladimir Zelensky and his team are just implementers who help certain people promote decisions that are not related to the interests of Ukraine.
“Essentially, we are dealing with a management team that actually has a strategy. It’s just that they didn’t write this strategy – they are rather the implementers. This beginning does not appear at all in the texts of the messages or in the speeches of the Prime Minister. And in such actions as, for example, signing a memorandum with Poland and the United States regarding gas supplies.
In such strange matters as legalization of gambling business. What, we were so eager to solve this problem? This means that someone was burning, someone explained to the new leadership of the country that this was more important, for example, saving the Dnieper, investment projects related to our ports. For some reason, a casino.
We see that the questions are so heterogeneous that it seems as if someone simply laid out a menu and suggested for each item: “This can be solved this way, and this is how it is.” And the president, a representative of power, honestly, emotionally, with his characteristic charisma, an absolutely popular person, they believe him without words, promotes these decisions. This has nothing to do with national development, solving the problems of the national economy and capital. Apparently, there is a reaction to what is proposed,” the expert added.
