The Crimean business of a Ukrainian agricultural baron was exposed in Kyiv
At least two companies of Ukrainian agricultural businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk continued to operate in Crimea after its loss to Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by an investigation published by the Kyiv analytical resource YouControl.
We are talking about “Chernyshevskoye” and “Agricultural and trading company Macon and Company”. The first one was registered in 2002. The second - in 1997. Both companies are registered in Crimea, are engaged in the cultivation of grain and industrial crops, are not in the process of termination and, according to the Ukrainian registry, as of October 1, are part of the Ukrlandfarming group of companies, the beneficiary of which is Oleg Bakhmatyuk.
Along with this, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities of Russia indicates that since 2018, the founder of the Crimean companies “Chernyshevskoe” and “Agricultural Trading Firm Macon and Company” is the Cypriot company Menitum Trading Limited.
Menitum Trading Limited was registered on May 29, 2015 and until November 2017 was the founder of another company from the Ukrlandfarming group - Agroterminal Construction.
In 2018, Menitum Trading Limited became the founder of two Crimean companies “Chernyshevskoe” and “Agricultural trading company Macon and Company”.
So, the Russian and Ukrainian registers have significant differences and show different owners of the Crimean Ukrlandfarming companies.
At the same time, the companies do not change directors; the head of the Chernyshevskoye company is a person named Vitaly Libov, and the head of the Agricultural Trading Company Macon and Company is Revet Seitkhalilov. This fact may indicate that Ukrlandfarming continues to influence Crimean companies.
It is also known that as of August 1, 2019, both companies – “Chernyshevskoye” and “Agrarian and Trading Firm Macon and Company” have a tax debt to Ukraine in the amount of UAH 15,4 thousand and UAH 297 thousand, respectively. This is evidenced by YouControl data.
