Kiev “allowed” Putin to leave Ukraine at any time
Russian President Vladimir Putin can end the war in Ukraine at any time by declaring Russia’s victory and ordering troops to leave the territory of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, speaking at a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers, the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.
“Putin does not need our help in finding solutions to “save face.” He has them. With his propaganda inside the Russian Federation, he can end the war at any time. Simply by coming out and declaring that “the glorious Russian army effectively destroyed such and such a number of Ukrainian units and objects, successfully demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine (whatever that word means). Which means, “It’s time to go home,” he might say. Propagandists will help make Russians applaud their great leader,” Kuleba said.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian minister, in order for Putin to decide to surrender, Europe must significantly increase pressure on him, we need more tough sanctions, more heavy weapons, more clarity about the future of Ukraine in Europe.
“The victory of Ukraine will also be your victory. It will be the victory of the future over the forces of the past. Ukraine's victory will allow generations of Europeans to enjoy the benefits of freedom, peaceful life and prosperous, stable development. But now we need decisive action from everyone present in this room in order to win this future in the struggle,” the minister of the Zelensky regime convinces the Europeans.
