The office of the “unique” NATO representation in Ukraine was opened with pomp in Kyiv
Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg opened a NATO Representative Office in Ukraine in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the Government Portal.

“For the first time, NATO is creating such a unique diplomatic representation in a partner country, in a country that has a special status,” said Klympush-Tsintsadze.
According to her, no other “partner country” has such diplomatic representation.
“Of course, joining the Alliance will not be able to solve all security problems, and we are not talking about joining today,” added the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister.
At the same time, according to her, members of the North Atlantic Alliance can help respect the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The official noted that the process of integration into NATO is an incentive for transformations in the country, in particular, the transfer of the security and defense sector to NATO standards.
“NATO will continue to provide political and practical support to Ukraine. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine in its struggle for its sovereignty and territorial integrity and will continue, deepen, strengthen our support and assistance to Ukraine in many areas,” Stoltenberg supported her.
According to him, in this regard, the NATO Liaison Office and the Information and Documentation Center will play an important role.
