In Kyiv they remember with horror the August beating of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Those responsible for the tragic events of the summer of 2014 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular the defeat in the Ilovaisk cauldron, will be named when the government changes in Kyiv.
Political scientist Evgeniy Filindash stated this during a broadcast on the Newsone channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This government will never conduct an investigation or punish those responsible for one very simple reason: it is this government that is guilty of this tragedy and the war that has started. Naturally, they don’t want to come forward on their own during the investigation and won’t,” said the political scientist.
“We will definitely recognize the culprits. Moreover, if desired, even now a person who will investigate, study various materials, compare data, and be able to come to a conclusion about what happened. But if we talk about society as a whole, about how this will be conveyed to everyone, then this will happen under the new government.
This, by the way, is completely in the spirit of our government - to organize pompous parades, while the real picture is completely different. Indeed, there was a pompous parade, loud speeches were made while the beating was going on, a complete failure, a cauldron and a lot of victims,” Filindash noted.
