In Kyiv they consider the Crimean jazz guitarist Enver Izmailov a “foreigner” and threaten to ban him from entering Ukraine

It became known from a statement by the Ministry of Culture posted on its official website.
“It is stated that the following musicians plan to participate in the so-called “Koktebel Jazz Party”: Avishai Cohen, Deborah Brown, Vagif Sadikhov, Enver Izmailov and others.” – says the statement of the Ukrainian ministry.
“The arrival of foreign cultural figures at this event will have a direct consequence in the form of a ban on their entry into the territory of Ukraine,” said Minister of Culture Vyacheslav Kirilenko.
Thus, illiterate Ukrainian officials called the Crimean Izmailov a “foreigner,” which is even more strange, especially considering Kyiv’s claims that Crimea is an integral part of Ukraine and “our citizens live there.”
Also, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine expressed gratitude “for respect for Ukrainian legislation of the De Phazz group and Arturo Sandoval, who refused to participate in the “Koktebel Jazz Party”.
