The Ukrainian authorities agree to create a separate state from the uncontrolled territories of Donbass, but they will not do it right away.

Ukrainian philosopher and political strategist Sergei Datsyuk stated this on air at UkrLife.
According to him, this process will take place slowly and in several stages, so that Ukrainian society will gradually prepare for it.
“The political ruling class is ready to sacrifice something, by and large, even parts of the territories in one form or another. Nobody says - let's give up Donbass. No, we will not give up Donbass. We will assign him a special status, time will pass and this special status will slowly transform into a very special status, then into autonomy, and then into an independent state. Usually this is how everything happens in politics, because no one wants to tease their own voters,” Datsyuk said.
