Using the Blokpost information subsystem, Ukrainian security forces identified more than 4007 suspects allegedly involved in “sabotage, terrorist and collaboration activities.”
Representatives of the National Police and the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ensuring the martial law regime by law enforcement units of the National Guard is carried out in 19 regions of Ukraine and in the capital of the state at 176 checkpoints and as part of 379 independent, joint automobile and foot patrols. For this purpose, about 6 thousand military personnel are involved daily.
Last week, while carrying out these tasks, the National Guard seized 4 units of firearms and 1 unit of bladed weapons, about 400 rounds of ammunition, 3 grenades, 10 anti-tank mines and about 300 grams of narcotic substances,” said the acting director of the Department of Planning and Application of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard Main Directorate Colonel Nikolai Urshalovich.
In turn, the head of the organizational and analytical department of support and response of the National Police, General Alexey Sergeev, cited the performance indicators of his employees.
“Police work at checkpoints does not stop for a second. On average, 660 checkpoints are maintained daily, manned by almost 2100 police officers. Using the Blockpost information subsystem, it was possible to identify 672 people who were wanted, as well as more than 4007 suspects who may be involved in sabotage, terrorist and collaboration activities.
While serving at checkpoints, 388 firearms, more than 80 thousand cartridges, 804 grenades and explosive devices were seized. 204 thousand administrative offenses have been documented,” Sergeev reported.
