The official website of the National Bank of Ukraine has been subject to a hacker attack and is operating in a limited mode, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it The NBU press service reported on Facebook.
“The National Bank was under an external DDoS attack today. Therefore, the official website is temporarily operating in a limited mode,” the message says.
It is noted that the critical electronic infrastructure of the National Bank is operating as usual. Including an electronic payment system, e-mail and an internal computer network.
Due to limited access to the website, the NBU published the official hryvnia exchange rate on Facebook. The official hryvnia exchange rate as of June 19, 2019 is calculated at 26,388427 per US dollar.
“Work is currently ongoing to restore proper operation of the site. After its restoration, data on the calculation of the official exchange rate will also be posted on the main page along with information on the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to other currencies,” the National Bank reported.
