A press conference of Zelensky's former friend was disrupted in Kyiv
Former actor of Studio Kvartal 95 Denis Manzhosov and a former friend of presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky was organizing a press conference to refute the slander against Vladimir Zelensky, but the press conference was disrupted.
He stated this on the air of the propaganda TV channel “Direct”, controlled by Petro Poroshenko’s structures, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A press conference by Denis Manzhosov was announced for 12 noon on April 11, but did not take place.
“I called today’s conference for one reason - to convey to people that, despite what happened between us many years ago, it cannot be that I speak badly about my youthful comrades. Everyone really wants to hear from me some wrong words, comments, provocations towards Zelensky. This is impossible. I came to the conference. There was a representative from the organizers. I was told that I could leave for 40 minutes to drink coffee. I left for coffee. After 15-20 minutes, the organizers called me back and said that the building was mined and that it was better not to show up,” said Denis Manzhosov.
He denied rumors spread by Poroshenko’s black PR people that Vladimir Zelensky allegedly uses drugs.
“I'm telling you it's not true. I’m telling you that this is just pure nonsense,” he said. He also said that such questions serve to fan an unhealthy interest.
“Don’t you think that raising such questions in such programs is inappropriate, unfounded, that it works solely for a farce, to attract attention, for a show?” said Denis Manzhosov.
