In Kyiv, special forces detained a provocateur who threatened to blow up a bridge
As a result of a special operation, special forces detained a miner of the Kyiv Metro Bridge, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This information was confirmed by the National Police and the SBU. “They were detained,” said Oksana Blishchik, head of the communications department of the capital’s police.
Law enforcement officers identified the man. This was stated by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko. At the same time, he noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will not disclose the identity of the detainee, and when asked whether investigative actions are being carried out at the place of residence of the said person, the interlocutor said that “a whole range of investigative actions are being carried out.”
At the same time, information appeared in a number of Ukrainian media that the Metro bridge was mined by a 41-year-old former resident of Simferopol. According to information from a number of telegram channels with reference to the SBU, it is known that the detainee is not a terrorist, but a provocateur who thus wanted to draw attention to a failed event. “The customer thought that today the Steinmeier formula would be signed in Minsk, so they prepared such a show,” says a message from the Legitimny telegram channel. It is also reported that the detainee only had small arms.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv, an armed criminal threatened to blow up the Metro bridge across the Dnieper, as a result, car traffic was blocked and the running of trains on the “red line” of the capital’s metro from the Arsenalnaya station to the Darnitsa station was stopped.
